Nature of complaint: Illegal Building and illegal re-zoning as a business
Details of complaint: The new homeowner has converted the residential home into multiple flat units as well as ripped out the pool at the back of the yard and built a second house with multiple units. Part of the new building wall is actually the back fence of property. New construction was not discussed or consent given by neighbors. Parts of the old house were renovated poorly and roof tiles are falling into neighbouring properties
Details of evidence given to the municipality: TBA
Progress: A ‘stop work’ order has been issued. A follow-up visit will take place and if work has continued then the matter will be escalated to law enforcement.
